Good World Of Warcraft Tips Help You To Enjoy The Game

World of Warcraft is by far the best and largest MMORPG out yet. World of Warcraft follows a long history of the original strategy game warcraft. There were 3 popular titles that were released previously that were also an extremely big hit. Warcraft, Warcraft II, Warcraft III and the 2 expansions "The Frozen Throne" and "Reign of Chaos". The release date of the game was on Nov 23, 2004. A year after its release and there are about 4.5 million subscribers and still growing stronger each day world wide.

World of Warcraft takes you to a 3D environment in the World of Azeroth. The World is the largest virtual environment ever created. You can explore through deserts, forests, mountains and more. It may take months before you can finish traveling through all of Azeroth. There are of course mounts such as horses, gryphons and other animals that can help you travel through Azeroth.

Along with the great 3D environment you are able to customize your characters looks in the highest of detail ever possibly invented. There are next to an infinite combination of faces, eyes, texture, size, weight, coloring to choose from. Unlike many other MMORPGs, you're bound to find a twin here and there but the possibilities have gone unlimited with Blizzards character creation.

If you are familiar with any World of Warcraft type game you know that you can simply fight enemies, loot what they drop and then sell the item's for money at a shop or auction house. In the World of Warcraft this is called grinding. I don't particularly like to "grind" but when your just starting a new character, it can be a good way to make some money. The key to successful grinding is to find a spot that has lots of creatures that are not to hard to defeat so you can go a long time just fighting and looting.

1. Before you create your "Main" character, spend some time playing with the other characters available. The cool thing about World of Warcraft is that you can create multiple characters to play. When creating your "main", think in terms of what you want to accomplish. Do you want to solo play? If so, a Paladin, Hunter or Druid works pretty well. Do you want to be sneaky and do a lot of damage fast? Then the Rogue is your choice. Are you a more supportive type of player? Mage and Priest come to mind. The idea is to fit your "main" with your personality, this allows for a lot of enjoyment when playing.

2. Spend time questing. This is by far the best aspect of the game and it will help you to level fast. A lot of players like to just run around, socialize and kill monsters. Fun yes, does it level you? Slowly. One of the essential elements of the game is to quest, this takes you along the path to the end game. So, don't shy away from quests, take advantage of them. You will gain both experience and gold by doing so.

3. When you first start playing, one of the many essential World of Warcraft tips is to select a profession. Now, this is crucial for one reason and that is do you want to make a ton of gold or just enjoy the game. If your answer is to make a killing in gold, then you need to pick a gathering profession such as mining, herbalism, skinning etc. If you do this, you can gather resources and sell them at auction for serious gold. If you just want to enjoy playing, then pick a secondary profession such as blacksmithing, enchanting, jewel crafting etc. You will have fun making your wares and selling or giving away.

4. Get to know your surroundings. This is very important. You really need to know where to find things you are looking for such as a weaponsmith or a profession trainer. Of course if you enter any of the main cities, you can always ask a guard to show you, but it is always much easier if you know where you are going by rote memory.

5. World of Warcraft tips number five: use macros. Man, being able to perform an action with the stroke of a few keys makes the game that much easier. Many times I needed to do something repetitively and creating a macro made it very easy, especially in a fight.

6. Do you want to play on a less crowded server? If so, then play a Horde character. The majority of World of Warcraft players are Alliance, so many places are incredibly populated...Ironforge...is a good example. If you haven't been there or seen the crowds there, then check it out.

7. This World of Warcraft tips has helped me to make serious gold while playing: buy big bags as soon as you can. I can't tell you how fortunate it is to have big slot bags to carry all the loot, especially if you are soloing. There have been times when my bags were so full I had to drop something in order to carry something else. Nothing is more painful than to have to get rid of a good item because you can't carry any more.

8. World of Warcraft tips number eight involves addons or mods. There are plenty of really great mods available to the WOW player. I particularly like mapping mods and highly recommend you get one. These will help you to keep track of all the places you can go in World of Warcraft and are essential to questing.

9. If one of your goals is to become wealthy in World of Warcraft, and it should because you will need plenty of gold when you hit the higher levels, then you should sell everything you can carry. Now be sure to pick the right venue, because some things sell really well in the auction house, while others sell decently at an in game merchant.

10. Of all the World of Warcraft tips out there, this is my favorite: Have fun while you are playing, get involved, and talk to people. Help others to finish quests, donate some gold every once in a while to someone who needs it. Offer to run a low level character through an instance. Remember, you were a noob once as well and had someone help you conquer an instance.

World Of Warcraft-Fantastic Expansion Pack To The Epic MMORPG

World Of Warcraft has become a legend in the MMORPG arena. It now has over eight million subscribers worldwide, which is just a staggering amount. And doubtless some CEO somewhere is staggering home carrying the vast amount of cash that comprises his latest bonus. WoW has become the MMORPG that others strive to hold a candle to, but it's highly unlikely that any of them will burn as brightly as this particular crusade.

This expansion pack introduces a new continent called Outland. There's the usual detailed back-story behind this which mostly involves demons, wars and a magical toilet-brush (which gets right under the rim... oh alright, it doesn't, we made it all up). Initial impressions of the land are distinctly bright and orangey, and a bit gaudy even for Warcraft's cartoon-ish graphics, but further in it settles down and there are some highly atmospheric zones to be discovered.

So what else is new? The feature list includes two additional races, the Blood Elf and Draenei (which allow the Horde to play Paladin characters and the Alliance to play Shaman, respectively), and an increase in the level cap from 60 to 70. An extra profession has been introduced (jewel-crafting), as have flying mounts (whee!) along with the expected swathes of content in terms of fresh monsters, dungeons and quests.

There are some particularly impressive beasts, such as the gargantuan Fel Reaver demon, which clomps along accompanied by booming sound effects, shaking the very ground as it moves. The Outland quests are very nicely crafted too, with some imaginative writing and execution in places (there's one particularly fun quest where you get to fly on the back of a wyvern, lobbing bombs at enemy troops). All this content is, of course, geared towards level 60-plus characters, although the two new races have starter zones which cater for levels 1-20.

Blizzard appears to still be considering the casual gamer in its design plans, as it quickly becomes obvious that the new lands allow easy access to some high quality loot drops. Even the lowest level orc just outside of the first settlement can randomly drop something that's quite powerful in terms of the "old" world.

Running the first instance dungeon, you might well find items which would, pre-expansion, have been regarded as "epic" quality. These instances are also designed to be run quite quickly - in an hour or two - which is a welcome prospect for those of us who can't stay up until three in the morning clearing out a vast labyrinth of monsters.

There have been murmurings of discontent from some corners, accusing Blizzard of dumbing the game down too much, but we heartily disagree. The initial dungeons might be regarded as rather trivial loot runs by the more hardcore players, but they'll soon have challenges aplenty when they get to level 70 and start tackling the high-end raid dungeons.

Incidentally, these raids are now 25-player affairs (as opposed to the old 40-person maximum), which will doubtless make them easier to organise for smaller guilds. Again, in our books this is a very positive move towards making WoW a more palatable experience at the higher echelons.

Perhaps the main problem that The Burning Crusade will face is on the PvP servers. With both alliance and horde crammed into the expansion's continent, tensions could soon rise... At the moment everyone is busy questing and levelling, so it's quite peaceful, but as people max out in levels you can be sure that the griefing will come. Getting killed over and over and over again while you're trying to go about your business could well be frustrating, but such is life on a PvP realm.

Verdict
This expansion pack gets a large and bloody orc's thumbs up. There are some great new zones to explore, ten extra levels to play with, flying mounts and, perhaps most importantly, WoW's casual friendly slant gets a boost on several levels. A must-buy for Warcraft addicts.

World Of Warcraft 4 Will Come As Most Fans Have Expected

The World of the Warcraft is one of the popular video games series that was ever released. As a matter of fact, even at the time where the third installment from this game series has not yet been released, there is already an ongoing rumor that Blizzard is already discussing the possibility of having the fourth installment of the series called the World of Warcraft 4. And now that the latest expansion of the said video game series entitled Cataclysm has been already released the rumors about the possibility of launching the World of Warcraft 4 gets even stronger.

The third expansion game from this series called the Cataclysm and it basically focuses on rewriting the shape of the Azeroth. And as rumored, the next expansion of this game is expected to feature some new land or in other words it will be more of a continent approach. In this set-up the players will be sent to various places that they haven’t seen before. Apparently, the fourth game will focus on changing or improving some small areas in the game that is other than the Eastern Kingdom and the Kalimdor area which were already improved in Cataclysm.

On the other hand, another rumor pertaining to a game called the Warcraft 4 has also been the subject of recent talks. However, the World of Warcraft system designer denied the said rumor by saying that their WoW development team is currently busy with the Starcraft 2 and not with the Warcraft 4. Blizzard’s chief named Frank Pearce has also told VG247 that if only their WoW team is available, the idea of coming out with the Warcraft 4 is something that they could actually consider. So we can safely say that the Warcraft 4 is not happening soon since Blizzard stated that it doesn’t have enough bandwidth in order to create the game.

Well, it seems that as of present the Warcraft 4 will not turn into reality as most fans have expected. So while waiting for this game, it is much better to enjoy the third expansion of the WoW series that was just launched a few days ago called the Cataclysm. This many not actually the first time that we have heard about the World of Warcraft 4 or Warcraft 4, so just stick around and wait for more details.

As players make their way through the quests and start leveling up, it quickly becomes clear just how well balanced World of Warcraft is at allowing people to decide whether they want to go solo, or group with others to get things done.  This all comes down to how well balanced the different classes are in the game.  It shouldn’t come as a surprise that something like a warrior, or a rogue, or a hunter in this game can handle themselves quite well going it alone in WoW, but it is very impressive to see magic users like the mages, and priests being able to hold their own while soloing (albeit with a little more difficulty).

Even more impressive is that priests can become very viable damage dealers thanks to the way their talent tree is set up, a very welcome change from the traditional heal-bot nature that priest-like classes have suffered from in the past.  As one gets to the higher levels, more of the quests become something designated as "Elite" quests.  These involve fighting particularly strong enemies, and will require grouping in order to complete them well.  It is a good way to make sure players are well-trained when they hit the end game material, but for those who would prefer to solo all the way to level 60, there are still a decent number of soloable quests available.

Some Tips For WOW New Player

I just signed up with TypeFrag.com for a Ventrilo server that our guild Boulderfist Heroes can use. I run WoW on a Mac and for some reason every time I would try and talk over Ventrilo, it wouldn’t work unless Ventrilo was the active application. This allowed me to listen but never say anything. Well after searching Google I finally found the answer.

Make sure under System Preferences, Universal Access; you have the option to “Enable access for assistive devices.” checked. That allows one app to control another one. Vent on a Mac is finicky though but I’ve got it working fine. After you make this change you will need to quit the Ventrilo client and launch it again. Before I logged out I wanted to get at least 500 HKs for the day. I know I passed that (probably got around 525 HK) before I logged out.

After the server restart this morning, I only show 455 HK. This is not correct. I created a GM ticket about this problem and spoke with a GM named Lysaere in game. He said that Blizzard knew about the problem and that if I wanted to talk to a GM that I should create a GM ticket. I told him that I had created a GM ticket (thats why we are chatting) and I am speaking with a GM now. I asked him why should I create another ticket? He kept repeating the same response to me no matter what my question was ‘[Lysaere] whispers: Please submit a GM Ticket request if you need to speak to a GM.’ I figured that submitting a ticket via the in-game red question mark (‘?’) icon was not the correct way of creating a ticket so I asked him how to create the ticket and he kept spamming me the same response over and over (I have screenshots). Do your GMs not read English? Are your GMs bots?

Here is a list of different classes and races.

Priests:
Can heal, rez dead players, shield players, fear enemies (making them run from you), mind control enemies (making them your pet for a short period of time), always wanted in a group. Casts spells at range to fight. Wears cloth. Supposedly dwarf priests are the most powerful. Primary healers. Can levitate and walk on water (swimming in water reduces your speed). Priests can chain the undead for a period of time.

Warriors:
This class is the center of all the action, mele class, tanks, primary damage deals, hard to kill, very powerful. Can use ranged weapons like guns and bows. Wears mail and plate. Primary tank. A needed class in every party.

Paladins:
Hybrid class. Combination of a warrior and a priest. Can heal, and rez like a priest but not as well. Mele class like a warrior and almost as strong. Can not use ranged weapons. Can use area of effect spells. Wears mail and plate. Secondary healers and tanks. Very powerful against the undead.

Mages:
Uses spells to kill at range. Probably the most powerful class (most damage per turn). However like priests they wear cloth and are easy to kill if you can get to them. They can teleport themsleves and party members to one of three capital cities at any time and place. Can frezze enemies. Has powerful area of effect spells. Can make food and water. Mages can transfer a humanoid enemy into a harmless sheep for a period of time. This is similar to a rouge’s stun.

Rogues:
Wears leather. Can walk around invisable. Can pick pocket enemies. Very powerful assasians. Attacks enemies from behind. Slow percise killers. Can stun an enemy for a long period of time. Can use ranged weapons. Mele class. Can open locked doors and chests. Night elves make the best rouges.

Druids:
Hybrid class like Paladins. Can shape shift into various forms. Bear form for tanking. Aquatic form for fast water travel. Cat form for fast tarvel at lvl 30 (can outrun all other classes at that level). Shadow panther for stealthing like a rogue. Can cast ranged spells and use mele weapons. Wears leather. Can heal. Can rez once every 30 min. Can battle rez (only class that can rez during a battle). Primary healer. Can have area of effect spells. Druids can root an enemy outside for a period of time and sooth animals.

Hunters:
Wears leather and mail. Mainly uses ranged weapons like bows and guns. Tames a pet which they control and attacks target for them. Can fake their death if they get into trouble. Can lay traps which trap an enemy for a long period of time. Can also use melee weapons.

Warlocks:
Wears cloth. Casts a spell to summon various demon pets which act like a tank for the warlock (like a hunter’s pet). Ranged attacker like a mage who casts spells. Has powerful damage over time spells which is cast on enemies. Can summon other players to their location. Can mind control demons (making them your pet for a short period of time). Can fear enemies (making them run from you). Has powerful area of effect spells. Can cast soul stones on themselves or other players allow the player with the soul stone to immediately rez where they die instead of having to run back to their bodies from a graveyard. Can breath underwater. Warlocks can trap elementals for a period of time.
